Jun, how can you be so against and grossed out by people getting surgery to look asian, or non-asian people appropriating your culture(you once made fun of a white girl for pretending to be an asian person on the internet)...but you support transgenderism? Isn't it just as offensive for someone to *identify* as the opposite sex than for them to *identify* as a different race? Black face and yellow face is wrong but drag or trans women is ok? Why the double standard on appropriation?

Not only is it some is BLATANT DISRESPECT TO TRANS PEOPLE but it’s also one of the most delusional things I have ever seen in my 24 years of life.

How fucking gross is it for you to equate white people pillaging, misusing, abusing, appropriating, accessorizing with and packing for consumption, an entire culture.. to a person’s gender identity.

Gender is fluid. Gender is not necessary what you’re assigned at birth.

RACE HOWEVER IS.

IF YOU ARE BORN WHITE, YOU WILL BE WHITE AS A CHILD, AS AN ADULT, AND YOU WILL BE WHITE WHEN YOU DIE.

You cannot fucking ADOPT another race because you feel as if you identify more with it than your own. That. is. not. how. it. works.

You do fucking realize that there’s more than two genders, anon. You do realize that there’s more than male, female, trans, etc.??? That it’s endlessly complex and even the genetics of gender is more than - no pun intended - white and black?

Jesus fucking christ. You are fucking pitiful, get the fuck out of my blog.

If anyone has anything else to add, please go ahead. I’m cis so I can’t explain this as well as others would. I do know, however, that whoever sent this anon is less than dried piss on the toilet seat in a public bathroom. Less than the shit on the handle. They’re the used condom in the trashcan.

SHINTARO OHATA

Born in Hiroshima, 1975.
Shintaro Ohata is an artist who depicts little things in everyday life like scenes of a movie and captures all sorts of light in his work with a unique touch: convenience stores at night, city roads on rainy day and fast-food shops at dawn etc. His paintings show us ordinary sceneries as dramas. He is also known for his characteristic style; placing sculptures in front of paintings, and shows them as one work, a combination of 2-D and 3-D world.

Japanese artist Shintaro Ohata (previously) currently has two new sculptural paintings on view at Mizuma Gallery in Singapore. Ohata places vibrantly painted figurative sculptures in the foreground of similarly styled paintings that when viewed directly appear to be a single artwork. In some sense it appears as though the figures have broken free from the canvas. These artworks, along with several of his other paintings, join works by Yoddogawa Technique, Enpei Ito, Osamu Watanabe, and Akira Yoshida, for the Sweet Paradox show that runs through August 10th

Mz 007- Important

I’ve listened to this at least 10 times since reading about it on For Harriet yesterday.

I’m so here for a fat black woman declaring herself important, exuding self confidence, and owning her truth.

Here for this movement!

You see, some things I can teach you. Some you learn from books. But there are things that, well, you have to see and feel.

Teenager from India invents device that can convert breath to speech
A high school student from India has invented a device that can convert a person’s breath into speech, to give millions of people around the world suffering from speech impediment a ‘voice’ for the first time.
Sixteen-year-old Arsh Shah Dilbagi has developed a new technology called ‘TALK’, which is a cheap and portable device to help people who are physically incapable of speaking express themselves. Right now, 1.4 percent of the world’s population has very limited or no speech, due to conditions such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), locked-in syndrome (LIS), Encephalopathy (SEM), Parkinson’s disease, and paralysis.

His name is Arsh Shah Dilbagi and he’s 16 years old. Gettin tired of sensationalized “mystery baby from a country where people are brown does a science thing!” articles. Use peoples names, don’t act so surprised when people of color are geniuses.

Pakistani teenager Aitzaz Hasan died Monday after tackling a suicide bomber trying to enter his school. By sacrificing himself, he saved the lives of the 2,000 students studying inside. Hasan’s father says, ”My son made his mother cry, but saved hundreds of mothers from crying for their children.”
This is bravery. This is selflessness. This is true courage.
